This simple Chrome extension hides (almost) everything from Twitter/X except the bookmarks section. I use this to read through bookmarked threads/blogposts without getting distracted.

Usage

To use this extension yourself, clone the repository locally. Then go to chrome://extensions in Chrome, enable developer mode and click Load unpacked. Then select the folder from the local repo clone. The extension includes a toggle to turn it on and off.
